Tokyo , October 9th, 2019, the fourth edition of the Italian Innovation Days. The programme born in 2016 and it has grown exponentially in both 2017 and 2018, it now comes to its fourth edition even richer and broader.

ISCLEANAIR was among the 15 Italian scaleups present this year.

In addition to the fundamental role of the Italian Embassy in Japan, which has wanted and believed in the project since its first edition, and Jetro, the Japanese foreign trade body that last year had already hosted the main moment of the mission at its offices in Roppongi, this year Invitalia also joined in.

The event’s partners include important names in the Japanese startup and scaleup ecosystem and in the economy of the Land of the Rising Sun, such as Crew, EdgeOf (one of the country’s main incubators), EU-Japan, Invest Tokyo, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, PlugAndPlay Japan, Slush Tokyo, Venture Cafè Tokyo, and The Bridge, which together with Startupbusiness is the media partner.

This is a very important moment to look at Japan because the country is experiencing a moment of strong evolution and renewed openness towards the rest of the world, also in view of the Olympic Games that will be held in the Japanese capital next year. It is also experiencing very important challenges, such as the progressive increase in the average age of the population, a challenge that brings it together with the two other countries in the world with the highest average age, Germany and Italy. It is also an important moment because in the years in which the Italian Innovation Days have been held it was possible to witness a rapid and progressive spread of the start-up culture and a growing attention towards new-generation innovative companies on the part of the large conglomerates that historically represent the pillars of the Japanese economy.
