Profile Description
We are looking for one or more young mechanical engineers with at least minimal experience, as well as a senior engineer or equivalent expert, to join our team of professionals. They will support and manage technical activities and operations related to the development, engineering, and production of ambient air purification systems, including multidisciplinary integrations in Energy Efficiency, IoT, and AI (APA – Air Pollution Abatement technology).
Activities will be conducted in collaboration with technical and industrial project partners and qualified suppliers, particularly for the implementation of a project called NAPE, funded by the PNRR Mission 4, Component 2, NBFC_S8PMI_1036, CUP B77H24003160004, focused on biodiversity and ecosystem protection in marine environments, industrial, and commercial ports.
There may also be collaboration with companies involved in environmental and energy projects in the Campania region.
Processes, prototyping, testing, and implementation range from pollutant, CO₂, and ammonia capture to decarbonization pathways, and integration with IoT and AI solutions to raise the TRL/MRL (Technology and Market Readiness Level) of the technology portfolio, enabling the development of new solutions and optimization of the value chain and selling proposition.
The role includes proactive technical-engineering support for concept development, design, offering, and definition of solutions, services, and products (components, design, bill of materials, prototyping, validation, and testing), and the development of integrated processes for system realization.
The professional will also support the Value Creation and Business Development team in drafting project proposals for national, European, and international calls, and participate in technical meetings with partners, authorities, clients, and stakeholders. Support for Sales and Marketing teams will also be important, especially in developing new services and solutions based on market trends.
We are looking for graduates in Mechanical Engineering with at least minimal experience and adaptability to agile, distributed, and dynamic work methods. We are also seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers or equivalent experts with proven experience and the same adaptability.
Assertiveness, interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities complete the ideal profile.

Is CLEAN AIR S.r.l. – BENEFIT CORPORATION
ISCLEANAIR is leading a crucial initiative for the future of our planet and the protection of public health, acting as a pioneer and first mover in new and innovative sectors. The company possesses proven assets and capabilities in areas expected to undergo significant expansion both nationally and internationally. Its work spans across broader economic and social development programs, with a strong technological and environmental focus, offering concrete solutions for ecosystem and biodiversity preservation and climate change mitigation.
The initiative has been active for over 10 years, based on a flexible, scalable, and risk-mitigated model aimed at creating radical innovations. It operates “from cradle to grave,” from laboratory conception to market introduction, laying the groundwork for expansion following technical and industrial consolidation. Since April 2017, the company has been operational in the development, registration, validation, and transfer of IPRs (intellectual property rights), supporting the industrialization and both direct and indirect commercialization of an innovative and revolutionary air pollution abatement technology known as APA (Air Pollution Abatement).
APA does not use filters but rather simple water. It is a versatile and enabling technology that supports multidisciplinary integrations for extended services and applications in related sectors. Through ambient air washing cycles, it reduces over 99% of fine and ultra-fine particulate matter, along with a wide range of chemical and gaseous pollutants present in the atmosphere.
The solutions developed have been extensively tested and validated for use in both indoor environments—especially in complex and polluted settings—and outdoor urban spaces (such as train and metro stations, airports, ports, etc.), confirming their broad applicability and establishing a clear position of technological leadership and superiority.
In 2022, the APA Panel technology system reached full industrialization (TRL 9). After final technical refinements for industrial-scale production, it became ready for mass manufacturing. During the pandemic, the technology was further enhanced, demonstrating new versatility and broader application potential. Notably, it was shown to reduce airborne viruses and other contaminants and to detect their presence in enclosed spaces (a unique capability worldwide), considering that particulate matter acts as a carrier for their spread.
Recent developments have focused on applying the technology to HVAC/AHU systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning / Air Handling Units), improving system efficiency, delivering clean air to buildings, and reducing energy and maintenance costs. Additionally, APA systems have been developed and industrialized for indoor environments (such as planters and mini-panels), and solutions have been implemented for the AgriTech sector to remove ammonia in livestock farms, enabling its storage and reuse in different production cycles, in line with circular economy principles.
Since 2024, the company has been pursuing new application directions in biodiversity, carbon capture, and storage, which are the focus of specific projects that the selected candidates will be involved in from a technical standpoint during 2025.
